Thank you so much to everyone who has been supporting me with this dream of mine :) It means a lot to know that my friends enjoy my photography, especially since I'm just starting out! So, I have big news :) I got a new camera today!!! I purchased the Canon 7D from a friend, I was using the Nikon D50 up until now and I'M SO EXCITED! I still have a few things I need to get before I can start using it but after I take care of that stuff tomorrow I have a photo shoot on Tuesday of one of my close friends and her boyfriend so you will all get to see the even more amazing quality of my new camera!! It's big news for me because it means I have more opportunity for my pictures to get THAT much better.. I'm actually really shy about my work so I hope you all enjoy looking even though I'm a little embarrassed sometimes to share! Happy Holidays and pictures from this weeks shoot to come.. :)

I decided to go back and look over some pictures I took a few months ago because I have a few photo shoots coming up and I want to work on my editing skills! I'm obsessed with these pictures because not only have I watched Levana grow up into this beautiful young girl but seeing her so free at the beach is really amazing for a 5 year old. :)

I went to the city with my new lens! The clouds couldn't have been more perfect for some really cool pictures, if I do say so myself! I'm definitely not one to edit my pictures a lot (I hate when people take a picture and make it look all video game-ish!) but the colors of the buildings in SF are a little bland so I wanted to enhance the colors to balance out the amazing colors of the clouds! Let me know what you think.. :)
